Help Us Wrap "A Gift For All Ages" Film!

The NEW classic about life, love, and, Christmas!  When a stranger invades Clarke and Catherine Moore’s home, he becomes an inspiration for Clarke’s writing and helps create "A Gift For All Ages ."

Why THIS film?

The film is about the relationships between people and what they give each other, especially in terms of love, which is life’s greatest gift.

 

A Gift For All Ages is a short fiction film based on the lives of real people in the early 19th century. Although the production style emulates the techniques and storytelling style of Hollywood’s Golden Era of the 1940-1960’s, the story themes are timeless.

Why are we Fundraising?

75% of the production has already been paid via self financing.  We’re asking for the additional 25%.  Each contribution to this campaign will be used for the post production process; editing, art design, special effects, and an original musical score. We’re almost there. We just need a little bit of extra help. No contribution is too small.

Who we are:

Throughout 50 years of working in theater production, Russell Webb dreamed of becoming a filmmaker. When the government gave him a long overdue payout for his time served in Vietnam he used these funds to finally pursue his dream. His film, “A Gift For All Ages” is currently in production. And, hopefully, to be fully underwritten and completed by Christmas of 2021.

 

First time Director, Alicia Wszelaki jumped at the opportunity to move from documentary film making to telling a narrative story. She brings to the production over two decades of experience in media production.

 

Cinematographer Matt Nothelfer ’s vision to create a film that emulated the style of Golden Era Hollywood has made this truly a unique and classic production. Matt is also co-writer of the screenplay.

After our special donor’s on-line-watch-party on Christmas Eve, the film has an open invitation to premiere at the 2022 Borrego Springs Film Festival on January 17th. This is the same town where the film was written, produced, shot! It’s also where the film will be completed (with your help).

 

We plan on submitting the film to multiple film festivals throughout the world. By the end of 2022, we hope that every family can snuggle together in their homes to watch the film on a streaming network.
