Help with Vida's vet bill
Donation protected
My gorgeous Vida was diagnosed with cancer tumor in her left back leg last Wednesday the 9th of August, what they think it is an osteosarcoma. This is the reason why I had to close my pigeon rescue temporary because I'm on my own and I can't take anymore sick or injured animals atm. She was misdiagnosed in first place at the end of May with cruciate ligament injury, but the previous vet never did any xrays or anything so she was being treated for ligament injury, but her leg just started to get worse and worse, to the point that she doesn't use it at all and got very swollen. She is on very strong pain killers atm, and special care, I have to use a lifting back harness to help her walk, i bought a dog trolley so she can go for rides to the park and have a little sniff around. She had a heart episode on the 24th of July which the vet from RVC believes it was related to the pain in her leg, as she had an ultrasound in her heart last Wednesday also, but luckily her heart looks healthy and doesn't show any sign of heart disease. She went as an emergency to the Royal Veterinary Collage yesterday afternoon and she stayed overnight, they will do xrays, a CT, blood tests and a biopsy from the bone today. I'm just really hoping the tumor is just located in her leg, and in that case she will have the leg amputated and she can have few more happy years.
The stimated cost of the RVC is £7.000, I had to pay £3.500 yesterday and I will have to pay the other £3.500 in the next few days, (see the stimated cost and recipt from yesterday bellow).
I will really appreciate if you could help me to pay Vida's vet bill please, even if it's a small amount it will really help. And please send her energy and love, my little girl, she deserves to be happy and healthy, one of the most amazing and sweetest beings I have ever met, Everyone who knows Vida loves her so much, she is really special, i just want her to be recovered, healthy and happy, off pain and that she can run again
