Help with Nashauna’s Legal Fees

Funds Requested for Legal Counsel
On June 10, 2020, the Cadillac CTS Nashauna Johnson was operating was involved a single-car accident on Route 22 - one of the most notably dangerous highways in New Jersey. From the witnesses’ accounts and from Nashauna’s recollection, the car was not speeding, but swerved, hit the guardrail, and became engulfed in flames, at which time, all of the occupants were on fire or unfortunately, succumbed in the burning vehicle. Nashauna, being one of the parties, and now the sole survivor of the accident, sustained third-degree burns over 60% of her body internally and externally.
After a preliminary investigation, it was determined that the damage sustained to the car was a result of the guardrail penetrating the bumper and car’s frame on impact, severing the car’s fuel line and causing it to explode. It was also determined that drugs, alcohol, and speed were non-factors.
Though all of the aforementioned was stated and on record, and while going through rigorous physical therapy and other medical procedures to repair broken bones/limbs/muscles etc. On Thursday, March 25, 2021, Nashauna was charged with 4 counts of vehicular homicide, for which she will now have to secure legal counsel.
While we are already enduring medical expenses (many that are not covered by insurance), the expense of legal counsel is beyond our scope. On behalf of Nashauna,I as her Mom/Caretaker Nicole Harper will be utilizing said funds to procure and assure she has beyond adequate legal counsel. If you are able to assist, we would be eternally grateful!
