Help with Mother Ike's Medical Bills

Hi, I'm Sean McRae, and I'm fundraising for my Friend Michael Chineme Ike.

Michael is a entrepreneur from Awka, Nigeria, and has been taking it by storm.

Despite only being in his 20s (like me), He's been doing amazing things, like writing and producing films, starting a film school and creating Micverse, a new streaming service for independent artists.

I've been closely watching his progress and it's simply amazing what he's been able to accomplish just in the past few years!

But...

A few weeks ago, His mother became sick. As I'm writing this, Michael has told me her condition has worsened and he needs financial help to get her the treatment she needs, so he reached out to me.

In the past year, I've lost my mother, an uncle and many of my beloved friends, it has deeply affected me.

If there's one thing more valuable than anything else on this earth, it's life.

Michael himself lost his father at a young age, but he was able to teach Michael about how to go through life with honesty and integrity before he passed and it has shaped Michael in a beautiful way.

And Now, He's doing things many in his country would find to be impossible.

He is on his way to inspire the hearts of many Nigerians and the world, but it's not going to be easy without the love and support of his mother! I know all too well how difficult it is.

Q: Why am I running this and not Michael? Where is the money going?

A: Due to the frequent scams that happen in Nigeria (Yahoo Boys, Nigerian Princes, Etc...), Nigeria isn't available on most fundraising websites, but since I live in the US and have a US bank account, I can receive donations for him. Michael is someone I know and trust, so you can donate in confidence.

Once you donate, I am able to transfer funds straight to Michael through WorldRemit, a service I've used that is fast, secure and reliable. He will then be able to pay for his mother to receive treatment through a better hospital. I will continue to update you on her health on this page as I'm updated.
