Help with Michael's medical and final expenses

Hello, my name is Kate Segat and I'm fundraising for my brother-in-law Michael Camp's medical and final expenses. Michael is 47 years old and has not has it easy. He is a 1993 graduate of Fox Chapel High School. He had a liver transplant at 21 years old due to an auto-immune issue and almost didn't make it. After months in the hospital and rehabilitation after surgery he pulled through with the love and care of my sister Brandy. They married, moved to Sarver, then had a daughter Cheyenne, who is graduating high school next month. About 20 years after his liver transplant, his kidneys began to fail. Last May he finally got a kidney after several years on dialysis. We all thought things were looking up. Michael went for a routine colonoscopy last month and a mass was found. The biopsy came back malignant. Colostomy surgery was scheduled for the end of May. Last week he began having severe abdominal pain and was taken to the ER. A blockage in his small intestine was found. Doctors were hoping it would clear itself but it didn't, so the surgeons scheduled surgery to remove the blockage and also do the colostomy while they were in there. The blockage turned out to be metastatic cancer from the colon tumor and upon further investigation by the surgeons, it was discovered that the cancer was all through his abdomen. Radiation is not an option, and he will have to go off of his anti-rejection meds to receive chemo which may not even help at all. It was determined that Michael is terminal. We are humbly asking for donations to help cover medical expenses not covered by insurance and to help cover his impending final expenses that were not planned for.
