Help with medical expenses for JHT

As most of you that followed this link know, my dad, John Henry, has been battling ALS for a few years now and as of last year, the unfortunate but common co-disease of dementia. We were lucky enough that a new infusion therapy was released last year and he qualified, however, insurance has been fighting every step of the way to cover it. The medication has now been approved, but not fully. He is also starting to need a visiting nurse to help out when family can’t be there to assist with daily living; insurance doesn’t cover that either. 

For those of you who knew my dad in his rock star days, he was the life of the party and always ready with a joke! He is also an incredibly kindhearted, intelligent, generous man that loves to bring people together for a great time and great music. With this in mind, our friend and the owner of Captain Nick’s, Marc, has very generously offered to host a fundraiser for him at Captain Nick’s on Sept 1. ***The family asks that if you are going to the fundraiser to please donate at the door and reserve the GoFundMe for people that cannot make it but want to participate from afar.***
All proceeds from both will be going directly into a medical fund for any expenses not covered by insurance.

The entire Tripler family, and all those near and dear to our dad/grandpa/brother/uncle can’t even begin to express our appreciation for the outpouring of support we have all received. Hope to see a lot of you at Nick’s Labor Day weekend!
