Help with Lemmy's hospitalization

Our beloved dog Lemmy is in critical condition in the ICU at Verg in Brooklyn. What we thought at first was canine flu turns out to be much worse. His blood levels and platelets are nearly non existent and will require multiple blood transfusions, IVs, and round the clock care until we find out what his next steps are. It could be cancer or an auto-immune disease or even a tick born illness — we just don't know yet and animal care such as this is extemely expensive.

Unfortunately this has hit us at a terrible time as both myself and my wife Sara are currently unemployed. Just last week her position was eliminated along with roughly a hundred others at her office. 

If anyone can see it in their hearts to contribute we would be forever in your debt. I feel embarrased to even create this fundraiser but our family is in a very tough position right now.
