Help With Lauren’s Healing

Lauren #3hardestwords I can’t tell you how many times I’ve written this in my mind. Trying to find the exact words to describe what it’s like to have cancer is so hard. 4 days after my 29th birthday my life changed forever, I was diagnosed with cancer. My mind went right to dying of course. They didn’t know what kind of cancer it was at first so I went through multiple biopsies, cat scans, n pet scans. I have a rare stage 4 squamous cell cancer that has metastasized.  So far I’ve done 10 months of aggressive chemotherapy. I go for chemo every 3 weeks which leaves me in an achy flu like state for a full week after. Im due for my cat scan again soon which will show the progress of the chemo. #iprayforprogress when I see my cat scan. If you know me then you know it’s been my mom n I my whole life, just the two of us. She’s my best friend and I can’t bare the thought of her losing me. We’ve both had to quit our careers to help take care of me, my mom went back to serving tables and I unfortunately can barely work a day a week because of my chemo schedule. Mentally, physically, n financially this disease affects my everyday life. Mental n physical you expect but financially cancer takes a toll as well. I’m asking for donations for help with different treatments that insurance won’t pay for, as well as the basics of living. Please help this holiday season.
