Help With John-Bryan's Road To Recovery

Donation protected
If you have met Jessica or David even once then you know that their son, John-Bryan, is their whole world.  Always kind and hilarious, JB is one of the most genuinely charming guys around.  He’s so easy to love and today, he needs our help.

On what was promised to be a beautiful Labor Day Weekend, John-Bryan had plans to start his Saturday with one of his favorite activities- fishing.  Early that morning, John-Bryan was discovered, unresponsive with no vital signs. CPR was started, EMS was called and John-Bryan was admitted to the ICU at St David's Hospital. Upon arrival, it was discovered that he had suffered a hypoxic brain injury and severe damage to his liver and kidneys.

Not giving up, John-Bryan's parents, Jessica and David, decided to keep him on life support in the ICU. He was intubated, a dialysis machine was put in place and the wait began. Immediately there was an amazing outpouring of love, support, and prayer from family, friends, and the community. Numerous people showed up to visit John-Bryan, many more contacted the family with their prayers and support.  Prayer chains all over the nation have been focused on the repair and recovery of John-Bryan's body and spirit.

September 11th, 2020 was John-Bryan's 25th birthday and shortly thereafter, against all odds, John-Bryan started showing increased signs of improvement. Based off these improvements his medical team determined it would be best to move him to an Acute Care Facility, where he could receive a regimen more suited to improvement than sustaining his current condition.

Due to COVID19 concerns, only his mother Jessica will be allowed at this time to visit him at the Care Facility. From the first day she has shown remarkable and unwavering support and care for John-Bryan; dedicating all day, every day, to being John-Bryan's advocate and making sure he gets the very best care and support needed.  In order to assist her in giving John-Bryan the best possible chance of recovery we are raising money to help with the mounting medical bills and general living expenses so that John-Bryan's parents can focus on the #1 goal - to have John-Bryan recover and celebrate his 26th birthday awake, aware and surrounded by his loved ones.

This is going to be a long and expensive road to recovery, if you can help offset the monumental medical expenses, no matter the size of the donation, we will be forever grateful.  John-Bryan is a fighter and we are still trusting the ultimate healer to restore his body. Please continue to pray for this sweet boy.
