Help with Jim Forkel's Medical Expenses

On Thursday, July 22, 2021, Jim Forkel was involved in an accident after the Trenton Thunder baseball game at Arm & Hammer Park. He was at the game to perform with his bagpipe band, AOH Div 1 Trenton Pipes and Drums, to celebrate 'Irish Heritage Night'. Besides spending time with his family and being "Chef Jim" to the students at Tower Club at Princeton University, playing the bagpipes and performing all over the central/southern NJ region brings him the most happiness and joy.
We are not sure how the accident happened and Jim has no recollection of the event in question. He was found in the parking lot next to the stadium, unconscious with a head wound, and was rushed to Capital Health Medical Center in Trenton. After an evaluation, it was determined that he had a severe spinal injury that the hospital was not specialized to handle. Around 2am on July 23, he was airlifted via helicopter to Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. There he has undergone a cervical fusion surgery and has one more to go. As can be imagined, Jim and his family have a long road ahead to recovery.
This is a life-changing event, not only for Jim, but for his wife Kelly and their two children, Mehgan and Ryan. The medical bills are mounting quickly.
