The End of An Era

My name is Minnie and I'm trying to raise money for my sister in law's family. Mike was born on October 2, 1967. He was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and pancreatic cancer. The news was given to his family in August of last year. He was put on chemotherapy for a while but was removed from chemo when other medical conditions arouse. Mike was unfortunately misdiagnosed during hospital visits. As of last month his condition worsened. Thursday, he went into surgery to see if the doctors could buy him more time. The surgery required seeing if they could remove a blockage in his pancreas which was unsuccessful. Unfortunately, the doctors have done everything they can to extend his life. There are no more tests or procedures that can be done. All they can do now is to try to make him comfortable. The family is preparing for Mike to be transported home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 so he can live out his last days at home comfortably with his family.
