Help with Christopher Brigman funeral experience.

KMy brother Christopher Brigman took his life January 9, 2021, he fought for his life at Spartanburg Regional Hospital and passed away at 6:58pm. After a long hard road of depression and it finally got the best of him. We as a family have lost a piece of ourselves and we don't know how to live without him. He was the best father, brother, son, cousin, nephew, grandson etc. he had a beautiful heart and was never scared to tell someone what he thought either, which i truly admired about him.
He tried so hard to see his kids, which he hadn't been able to do in  some time now. It wasn't bc he didnt try either i can promise you that! His kids mother would play powerful mind games, say the most hurtful heartbreaking things to him. He even had the police to go and do a well child check on them numerous times. He had done everything he knew to do to try to see them. Chris absolutely adored his kids. He even called and set up an appointment with a lawyer and started saving his money for the initial payment.
As we all know Christmas is a time where families come together, Chris texted and called his children's mother, but again she refused and said more nasty things to him. Well when everyone one else was making happy memories and spending time with there families Chris spent his Christmas day with his face buried in a pillow, crying uncontrollably on the couch, He wouldnt answer any phone calls or texts from his family.
My brother(Chris) was most happy a few years ago when he was able to see and spend time with his children. My brother loved all his nieces and nephews. From the day they were   born  Chris  had already created an unbreakable bond.
The past couple of years has been so hard for him,  we started noticing that he was slipping deeper and deeper in to his depression. We all tried to help him, we even tried to get him to go see a doctor or therapist. So now we all sit here thinking and wondering if we would have done this or that differently would he still be here now. What im trying to say is we all need to raise awareness of depression and take a few mins and ask the ones we love how was there day and just let them know we are here for them. So hold your loved ones close and take every advantage of letting each other know how much they mean to you and tell them you love then each and every chance you get.
I truly believe my brother died of a broken (shattered) heart. Now we are left trying to make funeral arrangements and memorial services way before his time. We as a family havent a clue how to make it thru these next couple of days or  (life period). We all loved him so much.
My brother didn't have any life insurance, and quite honestly we never talked about what one another wanted when it came time for us to leave (die). I truly thought we had way more time before we even needed to have these talks. So if you would like to donate money to help us with the funedal and arrangements that would truly be a blessing. Also we understand if you arent in any kind of situation where u can donate, would you please, please just pray for our family and help  raise awareness of how serious depression can be if left untreated. Also we will keep everyone updated on the arrangements and the progress we have made. If you would rather make donations in person you could bring them to the Citgo in chesnee. My family truly thanks everyone for the kind words and gestures you have shown to our family.
