Help with chemotherapy costs

Donation protected
UPDATE, AUGUST 2, 2019:  Dear friends, Tracey's battle has worsened and different treatments have had no effect.  Her doctors/oncologist continue to seek treatments that will show some results, but currently it looks bleak.  Tracey has accepted she may be approaching the end, but those of us who love and value her and don't want to lose her continue to fight to help her and her sister, Laurie.  They cannot afford basic essentials and are relying on the help of others to barely get by, and to get Tracey to her appointments.

Tracey is tired but hasn't given up yet.  She still strives to be the one who is supportive to those around her, despite her weakened condition.

I have increased our goal to $10,000 and I'm asking that you please share Tracey's message of love and courage, and ask you to please donate if you can.  Let's keep this campaign going.  I challenge you that if you are healthy and blessed and your needs are met, to please find it in your heart to make a donation.  Thank you, and God Bless.    ~Laura

We are a team called Tracey's Angels, and we are dedicated to helping our dear loved one, Tracey, with medical costs due to a sudden, unexpected, and devastating, diagnosis of Stage 3-C Ovarian Cancer--a very aggressive form of cancer that required immediate surgery to remove it, along with other organs and part of her colon.

Not long ago, Tracey had moved from Washington back home to Louisiana to help her sister, Laurie, care for their mother in her final years.  Shortly after their mother passed, Tracey went for a 'routine' hysterectomy, which resulted in an on-the-spot cancer diagnosis.  Since April 24, 2018, Tracey has had her surgery and is now participating in aggressive chemotherapy to keep the cancer away from her lungs and other major organs.  This has been quite a burden for both her and her sister, to go from caring for their elderly mother to now caring for Tracey.

The purpose of this fund is to help pay for specialized treatments not covered by insurance, including targeted medicines, tests, specialized diet, and regular checkups to prepare her body before, during, and after chemotherapy.  Your support will be SUCH a blessing to all of us who love Tracey so much!  She has supported, nurtured, mentored, and helped others her entire life.   She has given the shirt off her back many times, expecting nothing in return.  Now it's her turn to step back, seek the treatment she needs, and let others care for her in her time of need.  As she fights for her life, we all fight with her.

Your support will mean so much to both Tracey and her sister, to not only meet Tracey's medical needs but to help with household expenses as well.   Tracey was not working at the time of her diagnosis, and Laurie was the sole support for the three of them as they cared for their mother at home; she is now the sole support for herself and Tracey.

God bless each of you, even if you cannot give.  You are still a blessing!
