Help with baby Judy's kidney cancer journey

Hi, my name is Heather; baby Judy Bahr is my granddaughter. On September 21, 2022, our family received news that was almost unthinkable. Judy had a large tumor that had engulfed her entire left kidney. She had surgery to remove the cancerous tumor and the left kidney on September 23, the same day she turned 3 months old. Pathology confirmed she had a stage 2 Wilms Tumor. She will begin weekly chemotherapy at Primary Children's Medical Center on October 3, 2022; six months of chemotherapy is planned. Chemotherapy requires an additional surgery to place an intravenous port in her chest, also scheduled for October 3. Her prognosis is very good!

Even with health insurance, the unexpected expense of surgeries, chemotherapy, hospital stays, and weekly trips to the hospital are putting a financial strain on her parents. Jayce and Katie are responsible with their money but are currently a single-income family. Katie was teaching 2nd grade until May of this year and Jayce works for Orem City.
