Help Whitney Beat Cancer Again

Donation protected
As many of you know, Whitney was diagnosed with stage 2b breast cancer in March 2014. She underwent five months of chemotherapy, followed by surgery. Whitney handled the diagnosis and treatment like the true champion she is. Those of you that donated three years ago (THANK YOU!) helped make that journey a little bit easier by defraying the costs of her medical bills.

Whitney was declared cancer free in December 2014. In May 2015 she participated in the Avon 39, a 2-day, 39.3-mile walk to end breast cancer. She continues to be an advocate for breast cancer awareness and research, and a friend and resource to other chemo warriors and survivors.

Now for the crappy part -- earlier this month, Whitney went to the hospital for what she thought was pneumonia, and found out that in fact, her cancer was back. It is now stage 4 metastatic and is present in her lungs and liver. She had her first chemo treatment on August 11, and will undergo five more rounds -- one every three weeks.

Just like last time, Whitney needs your support. The medical bills are already starting to roll in, and the unfortunate truth is that insurance -- even "good" insurance -- doesn't cover everything. So we're asking Whitney's friends and supporters to contribute whatever they can. If anyone can beat cancer twice, it's Whitney. Let's help her do it again! Thank you for your love and support <3
