Help Wes and Bailey Rebuild

We are just a few, of many, who love the McGee family of Decatur, AR. All of them are thankfully safe, but they lost their home in a fire on April 11, 2021.

We are asking that everyone come together to help them through this tragedy. Every little bit helps.

Update 4/12/21 late-PM: It was a long day. Bailey and Wes spent a lot of time going through what remains of the house. They recovered a few things not damaged. Most is gone. The kids are in good shape, all things considered. Their school has made preparations for them to go back to class on Tuesday, with all the supplies they need. Kind neighbors and friends have brought snack food, provided dinner, and taken the kids shopping for basics. We are blessed to know this community and to see all you are doing for this amazing family!

Update 4/12/21 mid-AM: After hours of work, the fire is out. The kids are safe. The majority of the pets are safe (including the snakes...Noah is a local celebrity now). The adults are safe. The rest is just stuff, and while we all weep with the family that it is gone, it is replaceable. The kids are with family, leaving Bailey and Wes with the flexibility and time they need to sort out life after the fire.

ALSO - for those in the immediate area, or those who want to contribute but are leery of GoFundMe, the Bentonville Church of Christ is collecting donations and gift cards for the family. If you wish to give through that avenue, please contact them directly. Edit 2: The goal has been raised AGAIN, after hitting almost $20,000 in less than 24 hours! This is AMAZING, especially considering help and offers of assistance are coming to the family through many channels--their church, GoFundMe, Paypal and Venmo, and more! We are grateful for everyone who has supported the family through ANY channel and in ANY way. You all have made our day, and I know that Bailey and Wes, seeing the outpouring of love from so many, have been touched as well.

Edit 1: Our initial $10,000 goal was reached in just 10 hours (including a few hours when people were maybe sleeping)! We have updated the goal, as the first number was just a wild guess, and we have no idea what the actual need will end up looking like. Thank you ALL for your support! You all are amazing!
