Help Waluka to Plant Soybeans for the Kingdom

Donation protected

Waluka, a friend and co-missionary in Zambia, bought a piece of land for farming to support Evangelism. He wants to grow bananas, and other fruit trees, do some vegetable gardens and grow soybeans for sale.
Many farmers are making good money from soybeans right now. So he wants to start with soybean farming when the rains come. After selling soybeans, he can pay for a well of water at the farm and, until then, grow bananas and other fruit trees along with the soybeans. The vision of the farm in the future is to grow soybeans, bananas, cassava, groundnuts, and fruit trees and to have a variety of vegetable gardens

The farm project will enable him to consider the hungry and the poor to support Evangelism programs and seminars. His challenge is how to begin. He needs to buy soybean seeds and fertilizers. Therefore he is requesting financial assistance to purchase the soybean seeds. He would be so grateful and keep us updated with his mission stories and pictures of the gospel's advancement.

Until when does he need the support?
A friend of Waluka, a farmer, advised him to buy it between now and the end of Aug because, in September, the price goes up as many big farmers buy a lot; hence dealers run out of stock.

My Farm plot is in Kaoma town in West Zambia. His farm plot is close to a Canoe Church, which Waluka visited multiple times. The people who helped Waluka build this church will allow him to start clearing the Bush for plowing before the rains.

Ki Nako Farm is the proposed name. It is a Lozi word (Lozi is a language spoken in West Zambia. Zambia has over 50 different dialects). The meaning of it is "It is time."
Ki Nako Farm will be in Kaoma town, West Zambia.

What are other needs for the project?
1. A water system for irrigation. This is expensive. Waluka I wants to grow soybeans to raise money for the water system at the farm plot. The first part of this project is from November to April.
2. To purchase Bibles and hymnal books in English and the local language to distribute to poor villagers. He has done this before as he travels around for missionary services.
3. Help fund better church structures
People worship in these structures, and rains are coming soon. Through the farming business Waluka wishes to help such people with something better.

4. In the future, Ki Nako wishes to sponsor Bibles workers to plant churches in unentered areas, build churches in poor villages and help the poor and hungry villagers.

What is happening right now?
1. So far, he has 300 Avocado seeds and 40 orange plants.
2. The soybeans are right now still at a lower price available. Until the end of this month, he would like to settle the purchase of the seeds. For this matter, he needs a total of 800 dollars.
3. Waluka is training students traveling back and forth to work on the land in Zambia.
4. He just finished building a concrete church building where one of the congregations needed a better church structure.
