Walt Rossmann/Imprint Fight Cancer Campaign

Donation protected
Hi this is Nicole, I am one of Walt’s 3 siblings. As you can imagine, this is devastating to our family and we are still trying to come to terms with what is our new day to day normal. At this point Walt has completed two of his Chemo treatments which he will continue every other week. Some days are better than others for Walt, Krista and Cadence. Along with the Chemo, we are trying every medical alternative available, which most unfortunately are not covered by traditional insurance. We currently utilize the money for his daily care and supplements which are extensive. There are many options we are exploring, that we pray will become available to fight this monster of a disease. We are taking things day to day and will continue to update all of you. As a family, we are overwhelmed with the generosity and support that everyone has shown. We will be forever grateful for all of you. Please keep sending the positive thoughts and prayers our way!

And for our music family:
Our dear friend and vinyl industry leader Walt Rossmann just received news that he is battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer.  It came as a huge shock to Walt and his family… it was news that came quickly after having some stomach issues for a few months.  Needless to say it has been a whirlwind of emotions, looking for answers and finding the best course of action for Walt to get the help he needs.  Because Walt is young, healthy and strong his surgeon feels that he can fight for time.  Getting Walt into aggressive treatments quickly is key but it also puts an emotional and financial strain on him and his family.  Walt and Krista are generally unable to work between doctors appointments, dealing with insurance and managing his pain and symptoms.  A high intensity chemo is due to start next week and that will greatly affect how he feels and can manage his day to day life.

Many of us have known Walt and Imprint for years and through that time he has proven what an upstanding person he is.  He has shown time and again how reliable he is and how much he cares for not only his clients but music and the industry as a whole.  We know in the music business insurance isn’t what it should be,  it’s expensive, deductibles are high and he will be losing his short term insurance in a few months in the middle of treatment… Walt has treatments coming up that are not covered by his current insurance and after the short term runs out they don’t know where to turn from there as he will now have a pre existing cancer.  As his friends we have an opportunity to support him in this time of need, relieve some financial stress and have the strength of our community lift him up.  He would never ask for help but we all know if we needed it Walt would be there.  We have all called Walt many times over for a favor or rush job.  Not only can we make good on that but we can keep his spirits up by showing him how much he’s loved.

The next few months are crucial for treatments.  Let’s help Walt in the way we can and make the financial burden less so he can focus on fighting.  Krista said Walt wants to see their daughter Cadence graduate high school in 4 years… lets make this road smoother for our brother and his family.  The Rossmann's need us
