Help Richmond Hill Residents Recover from Storm Flooding
Donation protected
In the beginning week of August, Richmond Hill, Ga, located in Bryan County as well as surrounding towns and communities were inundated by flooding triggered by massive rains from Tropical Storm Debbie.
In the deluge of rain, dams that were situated upriver from this town gave way causing a surge of water into the Ogeechee River and water levesl to rise. The water levels flooded local neighborhoods despite community effors to sandbag and prevent this.
We are organizing a crowdfunding source to assist in two ways. The funds will be used to purchase a mass amount of needed supplies to go to the Richmond Hill Community Center, This place serves as the city's centrally designated distribution location for food, supplies and safety supplies secondly, a portion of the donations will be going to Richmond Hill families connections to assist with the housing of the individual displaced from the flood.
WE need your help to help our community, please donate or reach out if you can help in any additional ways.
