Help Vinisha's Leukemia Recovery
Donation protected
Thank you for taking the time to read!
In September, a couple of days before her birthday, Vinisha was taken to the hospital. What initially looked like a blood infection turned out to be Leukemia, and had her hospitalized for 6 weeks.
The initial treatment was very successful, however, the remaining treatment causes severe nausea and weakness and other side-effects from the ongoing chemotherapy. She is unable to do steady work for at least another 6 months in the business she was starting, during this phase of treatment, and possibly longer with the remaining treatment following that.
She is self-employed, and primary caregiver of her beautiful 3-year-old daughter. She has been very reluctant to ask for help.
Her family have been very helpful and continue to help, however, the treatment is long. Help to cover the shortfall would make the world of difference to her, with only small portion of savings left to cover what she needs.
Your donation will help put food on the table, keep a roof over her head, keep her car for when she is better to drive, but most importantly relieve the stress so she can focus on the important things right now, getting better and continue being a positive presence for her little girl!
Anything you can do would help - of course donating but also sharing this campaign amongst your network. It’s all appreciated!
