Help Victor With University Tuition

To my friends, family, and the GoFundMe community,

My name is Victor Oporto-Gola, a goal-oriented Automotive Professional with a Bachelor of Business majoring in Automotive Management. I have over 8 years of experience in the industry, one of which as an Entrepreneur of d'Elegance Mobile Detailing. I am also a father to a wonderful 10 year old boy.

Like many of us, I am a proud son of Immigrant parents and a first-generation college student. In search of a new challenge in life, I have earned the opportunity to attend at the Bologna Business School - University of Bologna in the Fall to study Supercars, Superbikes, and Motorsports at an MBA level in Italy.

The dedication I have to the automotive industry is a direct manifestation of my ambitious goals to make an impact in the same vein as the names that adorn the back of the supercars of today. Not only am I very excited by the courses and professors of the program, but I am also extremely motivated by the potential career path that this program will open up for me.

As we move towards a greener future with sustainability at the forefront of technology, it is my vision that we can continue to enjoy the engineering marvel and enjoyment that supercars, superbikes, and motor sports brings to our lives

Last year, I took a trip by myself to visit all the automotive factories and museums I could in Italy and Germany. Although this was a personal trip, it was definitely one of the most significant moments in my professional career. Visiting the Lamborghini factory was the first time I physically was able to see how a car is made. Walking through the Pagani factory is almost a religious experience, really understanding the workmanship and dedication to their craft. The bus ride through the Ferrari compound in Maranello really instilled how large of an operation it takes to be as established as them on the road and on the track. Motor Valley, and Italy itself, serve as almost a holy grail in the world of supercars and motorsports. I include this anecdote as that trip gave me the motivation to not only advance my career, it gave me the motivation to achieve absolute greatness and nothing less in my automotive pursuits. Applying to this specific MBA program is part of that journey.

With eager excitement, I will be starting the program on the 1st of September. I am humbly asking for financial assistance for my tuition in addition to relocating to Italy. I am grateful for receiving a partial scholarship after placing second overall in my merit and aptitude test, however there is still a difference I have to make up. Total tuition costs after scholarship is €15,000, with the first third due upon entry.

Being accepted into my dream program is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. I know times are hard for everyone but if you can donate whatever is in your heart each contribution will go directly to helping me reach my goal, would be greatly appreciated!
