Help Vicky have a holiday to Brisbane

Hi my name is Gillian and I’m fundraising for my dear friend Vickerina. Vicky is a Bininj woman who lives in Darwin but comes from the stone country of Gunbalanya in West Arnhem Land. Vicky really wants to fly down from Darwin and attend a concert (juicy festival) in Brisbane on the 13th of January. Vicky has had a tough 12 months and has lost 4 very close family members (her mother, sister and 2 aunties who she considered mother figures). Vicky struggles with multiple health issues of her own and sadly has a genetic neuro-degenerative condition that results in being completely immobile. It would mean a lot to Vicky to be able to get down here for a break from everyday stressors and go to a festival while she is still mobile and strong. Vicky is a selfless person, who works hard & always puts other people before herself, so unfortunately she doesn’t end up with money left over for herself. The ticket to the festival costs $310 and return flights are around $600 (and rising). I’ve put a higher goal as it would be great to be able to do other fun stuff while she is down here, I don’t think she has ever been to Brisbane. Also would like to get some nice accommodation.
