Help Us Deliver Life-Saving Warmth to North Carolina:
Donation protected
My name is Vickey Simmons, and God has placed it on my heart to help the people of Western North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Many families have lost everything, and right now, they are trying to survive freezing nights in thin, uninsulated tents not built for winter. These are our neighbors, and they’re facing the unimaginable—trying to stay warm in the middle of devastation.
With your support, I’m raising $10,000 to purchase subzero sleeping bags at a discounted rate from Teton Gear. Every dollar raised will go directly toward these life-saving sleeping bags, giving people a safe, warm place to rest at night—one small comfort that can make a world of difference. I am coordinating with Leigh Thomas Brown, who will help distribute these sleeping bags to those most in need.
In a few weeks, my family and I will be traveling down to North Carolina to lend hands-on support to relief efforts, and we’ll personally deliver every sleeping bag funded through this drive. We’ll make sure these supplies go directly to the families who need them most.
If you’re able, please donate. Even a small contribution brings warmth and hope to people who have lost so much. I’ll provide complete transparency, sharing receipts and updates along the way, so you’ll see the difference your generosity makes.
Let’s come together to remind these families that they’re not forgotten, that their struggles matter, and that they are loved. Thank you for standing with us in this mission to bring warmth and comfort to those in need.
God bless you for your kindness, and thank you from the bottom of my heart.
