Help Veronika Keep Smiling

Hi, my name is Amaranthe and I'm fundraising on behalf of my wife, Veronika, a queer Jewish computer programmer, game designer, and teacher. She is the most important person in my life, and her health matters more to me than the oxygen in my lungs. And she needs oral surgery.

Recently, she had a badly fractured tooth removed. Now she needs a bone graft and the tooth rebuilt. Just not having the tooth is not an option and the oral surgeon recommended the bone graft and rebuilding. Insurance is only covering a small fraction of the cost, because in the US, teeth are luxury bones. I work full-time as a medical writer and part-time as a short author and sensitivity reader, but I don't make enough to cover this monster expense, and we have no savings after our late ESA, B'Elanna (z''l), had cancer last year.
