Hello, my name is Maria Alejandra and this fundraising campaign is for my friend Veronica Silva. She is 37 years old, lives in Venezuela and suffers from Systemic Lupus Erythematosus of complex management.
Her immune system attacks her organs and her kidneys are affected, she suffers from anemia, convulsions, has trouble to walk and lives with joint and muscle pain on a daily basis.
She is the mother of two boys, an 8-year-old and a 10-year-old, and she really wants to live and be next to her two little ones to see them grow.
She already has exhausted all the treatments available in Venezuela, from pharmacological treatments to chemotherapy.
Her doctors told her that a biological therapy (Belimumab) should be carried out. Unfortunately, this treatment is not available in her country of residency and she does not have the financial resources to pay for the transfer and documentation procedures necessary to carry out the treatment.
With your contribution, she will be able to travel abroad to start the treatment as soon as possible and have the opportunity to improve and have the quality of life that she deserves and desires, together with her children and husband.

Su sistema inmunológico ataca a sus órganos y tiene afectado los riñones, padece de anemia, convulsiona, tiene dificultad para caminar y convive con dolor articular y muscular a diario.
Ella es madre de dos niños, uno de 8 años y otro de 10 años y tiene muchos deseos de vivir y estar al lado de sus dos pequeños para verlos crecer.
Ya agotó todos los tratamientos disponibles en Venezuela pasando por tratamientos farmacológicos y ciclos de quimioterapia.
Sus médicos le indicaron que debe realizarse una terapia Biológica (Belimumab) que no llega al país y ella no dispone de los recursos económicos para costear el traslado y trámites de documentación y tratamiento para realizarlo fuera.
Con tu contribución, ella podrá viajar al extranjero para cumplir con este tratamiento lo antes posible, y tener junto a sus hijos y esposo la oportunidad de mejorar y tener la calidad de vida que tanto merece y desea.
