Help Verna Durbin and Family

On behalf of the Durbin family, we are starting this page to relieve some of the financial hardships facing this beloved family. At 12:30pm on Wednesday March 13th, Verna Durbin had a serious hemorrhagic stroke while she was at work. Fortunately, first responders reacted exceptionally quickly and Verna received medical care almost immediately. However, she is still facing critical conditions. This specific kind of stroke causes bleeding in the brain, and can be extremely detrimental. She is currently still receiving care in the hospital (Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA), as doctors are monitoring her bleeding and blood pressure. There is still the possibility of surgery to relieve that pressure. A very long recovery period and rehabilitation is anticipated.

For those who know Verna, she is such a kind, beautiful, and gentle woman. She is a very hardworking wife and mother to her wonderful family -Larry (her husband) and Desiree and Deanna (her 2 daughters). It would be a huge blessing to help this family cover some of the medical costs during this tragic time. Your generous contributions are greatly appreciated.
