Help Ven. George during his medical treatment

Hello, this is Shankha Mitra, and Karen Mastroianni and David Machles, longtime friends and students of precious Ven. George Churinoff. As you may know, he's going through cancer treatment for the next six months or so. Although he would never ask us, we know he could use some extra funds to pay for various things during his treatment--incidental medical expenses, staying overnight in Asheville where the hospital is, etc. Also, some extra funds will allow him some peace of mind and not worry about teaching as much during his treatment.

 

Although Ven. George hasn't told us anything about how much he needs, we've estimated that $500 per month for the next six months would go a long way.

 

We've set up this fundraiser so that all of the students and people he has touched deeply can help in his recovery and collect merit. And remember that Lhabab Du Chen (Buddha's descent from the Heaven of the Thirty Three after teaching his mother there) and Lama Tsongkhapa Day will come up soon on October 27and December 29, increasing the. merit hundred million fold. Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
