Hey guys ! So Valerie, my twin sister, had a doctors appointment on Wednesday, October 9th for some testing, at her last appointment of the day they admitted her into the hospital. Her blood pressure was really high. When they told her she needed to be admitted, her blood pressure had spiked all the way to 171/100. They wanted to monitor her because it was not going back down. When you have high blood pressure when you are pregnant it can turn into preeclampsia which is what they are watching for. It can turn very very serious real quick. They are testing and monitoring her until her due date, December 15th. The doctor said if she doesn’t have it right now, she will eventually get preeclampsia and basically when she does they will have to deliver the baby. Valerie is only 30 weeks pregnant. They are waiting on one test to see how things will go. But the doctor said she will most likely be in the hospital until the baby is born. However long that may be . That means she cannot leave. She cannot go to work, she cannot do anything until the baby is born but sit in the hospital all the way until her due date. It’s scary because we don’t know what is going to happen. I’m glad they are watching everything so closely. The baby is perfectly fine but preeclampsia is very dangerous for my sister. So many different things can happen. So I’m glad this will all be monitored until the baby is here. Val won’t be able to work until after the baby is born and after the maternity leave.  If anyone could spare anything just to help them out during this time. It’s going to be a hectic few months. I hate for them to have to worry about how they are going to make their bills while Val is in the hospital. It’s unexpected and inconvenient but it’s happening and it’s scary. I pray things are going to go smoothly until the baby is here but all we can do is wait and pray. We will keep you all updated of all the things that happen. If you could keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Thanks everyone.
