Help us to build a disability centre in Nosy Be!
Hey everybody!
As you may have heard, the guys at MRCI are teaming up with us at Sunrise Madagascar to create the first centre for people with learning disabilities on the island of Nosy Be, Madagascar.
Currently, there are no facilities for people with disabilities on Nosy Be, leaving many young people in the constant care of their parents/siblings. Without any basic education & very few future prospects, people with disabilities in Nosy Be are extremely disadvantaged.
Sunrise Madagascar & MRCI believe that everybody deserves education & care... So, together, we've decided to make a difference.
Sunrise Madagascar have built a team of local & international professionals to work in the centre. MRCI have purchased land & dedicated themselves to designing & building the centre.
Together, we're now aiming to raise our final £45,000 ($56,292) to cover all building costs for the centre.
The £45,000 will be spent as follows:
£37,000 - Building Materials
£3,000 - Transport
£500 - Administrational Costs
£4,500 - Professional Fees: Professional Architect & Engineer Design
£0 - Labour costs: The centre shall be built by MRCI volunteers as soon as COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted!
The centre will have a wall of fame featuring those of you who donate generously!
