It continues to be a very long and difficult road for our mother, Carol Rodriguez, and many of our friends and family members  have asked us how they can help so again, we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts as we keep open this GoFundMe.

To quickly recap and give you a more recent update, our mother Carol Rodriguez was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma, a rare cancer of the soft tissue. She went through 2 rounds of chemo, 6 weeks of proton therapy radiation and had an 8 hour surgery where they removed an 8.5 cm tumor from her back along with her left kidney as the tumor grew down its vessels. We thought she was cancer free after the surgery until a recent scan showed metastasis into her liver. She has undergone 2 more rounds of chemo but unfortunately it was ineffective. We are now moving into a new procedure called radioembolization where she will have radioactive beads inserted into her liver to destroy the tumors.  We still have no idea if she will ever be able to go back to work.  Please continue to send your love and prayers!
