Help Us Secure a Bright Future for SoCal Hamsters

We are reaching out to you with a cause close to our hearts — the well-being of hamsters in need. At Snow White's Rescue Cottage, we have been tirelessly working to provide care, shelter, and love to hamsters facing challenging circumstances. Today, we come to you with an exciting opportunity to take our mission to the next level.

We have embarked on the journey to gain 501(c)3 status, a crucial milestone that will not only legitimize our efforts but also open doors to increased resources and support. However, we cannot do this alone. We need your help to raise the funds required to complete this process.

We are working with Blue Field Law, who are experts in this arena and have guaranteed us success in the process. The all-inclusive fee for their services is $2500. Added to this total are IRS fees at $275 and an additional $100 in state and DOJ fees. All said and done, achieving 501(c)3 status will cost us $2875! We have been saving for this for the past few years, but this will deplete a large chunk of our operating budget for the year. So, we need your help!

Legal Recognition: Gaining 501(c)3 status will provide us with legal recognition as a non-profit organization, enabling us to expand our reach and assist more hamsters in need.

Increased Resources: With your support, we can access a broader range of resources, including grants and partnerships, allowing us to expand capacity, provide more veterinary care, and perhaps grow into a new space!

Pet Retention Programs: Your donation will enable us to develop and grow our initiatives to raise awareness about proper hamster care AND provide hamster keepers with more humane supplies--thereby reducing the number of hamsters in need in the long run.
