Dearest Friends of The LODGE,

The Lodge is one of the only black owned and operated private underground dance clubs in Chicago. Located at 5108 S. Prairie and housed in a, soon to be, historic landmark, The Lodge is unapologetically and intentionally a welcoming respite for everyone regardless of race, sexual orientation, and gender identify/expression. As such, it has become a vital heartbeat for our community.

Due to a myriad of minor licensing and structural issues, it has also become a lightning rod for city interference with our operations, and threatening our various existence.

Owning and operating an underground club that features internationally known DJs, original and classic House and club music, and up and coming artists, is no small feat. It is however my life’s passion, and I am committed to serving you, my community, for as long as possible.

As we approach our 8th Anniversary of LOFTWERK PRODUCTIONS @ THE LODGE we want to Thank you again for your continued support, love, loyalty, and good vibes. It has been our honor to help many of you celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, big announcements, fundraisers to help our House Community members in need, Home Goings for your/our loved ones and just life in general. I can honestly say we made it through many challenges because of your support and without a doubt there is no way we would’ve made it this far without all of you. Speaking of challenges, we are now faced with some of our biggest behind the scenes challenges to date as we try to help restore this 85+ year old historical building to meet city code expectations.

This building repair, when all is said and done, will cost the Lodge over $50,000.00. So, I am reaching out to you, our Guest Members, Friends and Supporters from all over, for help.

All we want to do is continue giving our best in safe quality entertainment at The Lodge.
