Help us save the 2020 football season for our kids

This group of seniors was one of the many groups affected by the decision to cancel the high school football season.  Several of them have been playing together since 2nd grade.     The cancellation of high school football has caused a dilemma for many of us, as high school football will be played in independent leagues, but participation will be limited to those groups that can afford the up front costs.  We are forming an independent football league team, to allow them to play this fall, with many of their underclassmen teammates, and football players from neighboring towns who have also lost their season.  For many of these athletes, this will be their last football season.  We don’t want them watching from the sidelines!  Our New Hartford Wolverines have graciously offered help with organizational support for this team as many of them are Wolverine alumni- and we are very grateful.  We would really appreciate any financial support, as insurance, trainers, jerseys, pads, helmets and program costs all need to be covered.   Thank you for your consideration.
