Help us save Peregrin
Donation protected
On August 6th, our kitten Peregrin (Pippin) suffered a heavy blow to the head. She was still alive, and we rushed her to the hospital, where she was stabilized. She has been recovering every day since then, and the veterinarians think she will be able to recover completely. After almost a week at the hospital, she is now home in our care. But she will need further treatment by the veterinarians, and we don't know how much it will cost. That’s why we are asking for your help. We would be extremely grateful if you would like to donate to contribute to the veterinary costs. Every contribution helps.
Here is a more detailed overview of Pippin’s injuries and her recovery so far:
After a CT scan, the veterinarians saw that she had several skull fractures and bleeding in her brain. The fractures were not dislocated, which is very positive and means they can heal. There were no other fractures in her body.
The bleeding was putting pressure on her brain, but the pressure has decreased enough for us to bring her home. Now she just needs time to rest and heal. When she is strong enough, she will need rehabilitation at the vet.
Whatever you donate will be used to cover the veterinary bills. If we receive more money than we need, we will donate the excess to a cat shelter of our choice.
