Help us save our chonky cat Ketu, please

Ketu is a little chubby baby girl and the apple of her mothers eye. She is 3 years young, a little clumsy and doesn't always like to use the kitty stairs to climb up and down from the bed.

On Monday morning, she jumped down from the bed after a, to be assumed, terrific night of cuddling with her mom and dad, and landed in a weird way with her belly full of chonky weight.

She broke her leg in 3 places and displaced it. We have ruled out surgery because the cost is too much and we are unsure if the hardware necessary to be placed into her leg to heal will cause discomfort for her whole life.

We are attempting to raise money for an amputation surgery. We understand cats are resilient creatures and tend to heal from the procedure within a week or so. She will have a slight problem dealing with being a tripod, but should fully heal and live a normal life with her mom, dad, and brother. Mom and dad are humans, but she has a fur-brother.

If you have even a dollar to spare, we would be extremely grateful for the help. We are definitely not immune to the current economic climate, and are severely ill prepared to cover a cost like this.
