Hi everyone,

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my mum and her beautiful dog, Humphrey. If you know my mum, you’ll know she’s not someone who ever asks for help so doing this is a big step, but we’re at a point where we really need to reach out.

Humphrey has been seriously unwell, and after countless vet visits, tests, and treatments, there’s still no clear answer. Vets now suspect a hidden intestinal blockage, something that isn’t showing up on X-rays or ultrasounds, and exploratory surgery is now the only option to find out what’s going on and hopefully save his life.

The costs have already exceeded $7,000, and unfortunately, pet insurance has maxed out at $3,000. With more expenses on the horizon for surgery and aftercare, my mum is doing everything she can, but it’s a lot.

Humphrey means the world to her. He’s more than just a pet, he’s her little shadow, her comfort, and her best mate. Seeing him in pain and not being able to do more has been heartbreaking.
