Hello all, my name is Amber and I’m writing in hopes to find those who love shopping small and supporting small local businesses. I am owner and operator at YOUtopia Essentials, a small, woman owned business in Waco; and like many, we’ve been hit hard this year with slow sales and operation and it’s looking like we’re going to have to close our doors after only being open for a very short year and a half.

We are an herbal apothecary offering spiritual accessories such as books, candles, crystals and hand crafted all natural self-care products. We are the only of its kind in Waco and we strive on helping locals and community learn more about spirituality, holistic self-care and support mental health with natural ingredients and product as well as services and classes.

YOUtopia Essentials was born out of my own medical and health journey and I pride myself in the education of becoming a Natural Health Consultant and furthering my education on herbalism to help those learn about a more natural way of living.

Our shop is a “beacon of light” to those who need a safe space to sit and relax, thumb through a book about herbalism or meditation or spirituality, sample hot herbal teas and learn about their benefits, collect ethically sourced crystals and educate themselves on the spiritual benefits they provide, or even attend a class on making their own bath soaks and spiritual crafts.

Funding and support of our business will allow us to continue offering such a unique and special experience not only locally but also though our website which offers our product to be shipped across the United States. Funds will be used to build our inventory and offer the chance for marketing to get our name out there more.
