We are Minke Hesen, Mere Lotte Geijtenbeek, Ivelina Lyubenova, Rosita Stoyneva, Ruben Korver, and Sofia Nikolova. We need your help!
The team behind What To Do With Johnny? is raising money in order to bring our short movie to life! More specifically, we need money to ensure safe transportation, a beautiful set, and enough catering for our cast & crew. What To Do With Johnny? is a professional film project as part of the creative producing course at Breda University of Applied Sciences.
The film tells the story about Henrick who struggles to accept his grandson Johnny, because of his pride and conservative views of the world. If he doesn't learn to let go of his strong beliefs, he risks losing the relationship with his grandson.
We would love to create this short family drama film as it is really special to us – not only the story has a beautiful message (to accept everyone as they are), but also because we are making it from 2 different countries on the opposite ends of Europe – The Netherlands and Bulgaria.
In order to convey our idea into the big screen we will need a bit of financial aid for things such as our set design – to make it richer and more authentic, transportation and catering for our cast, and gifts for our amazing actors in order to thank them properly.
All donations are welcome – all of them make an impact and bring us a step closer to bringing “Johnny” (as the crew calls the movie for short) to life!
