Help us raise for a new van

Eat Up is a food charity delivering food to other charities and community groups for over four years. Working through the pandemic to support the community was a real test for the charity. With the goodwill of volunteers, the charity has run a top service for people who need access to food. We bought a van in March 2020 to help the charity cope with the vast transportation of food. On the 6th of May 2022, the van stopped working as we were delivering food to a project. The “M8” motorway was filled with smoke coming from the van. The emergency services were exceptional in bringing things under control.

 

Now the van has come to an end. The charity finds itself is in a situation where it needs a new van. We have started this gofund.me application to ask anybody to support the charity by donating towards the "van fund". Without a van, the charity will not be able to do the work on the scale it has over the last few years. We are asking for donations towards a van so that Eat Up can continue to support other groups and individuals who need access to food daily. The charity needs your support to keep the service going.
