The managing team of La Vita Bella, located at 471 Main St. in Longmont, Colorado, is asking for support to pay staff members for the next 30 days.
Payroll averages $6,500 every two weeks. Any amount is helpful; the most vulnerable among us will be the first to receive funds.
WHAT IS LA VITA BELLA?
Glad you asked! La Vita Bella (www.longmontcocktails.com) is the “gathering place” for visitors and locals in Longmont, Colorado. In addition to hosting fabulous entertainers and artists, the restaurant/bar serves delicious coffee, craft cocktails, wine, and healthy cuisine. Simply put, we care about serving excellent coffee, cocktails & cuisine, and aim to bring the community together.
The week of March 15th was actually a planned NEW menu launch, featuring innovative options like jackfruit “pulled pork” sandwich (entirely vegan) and duck confit. Although the café’s momentum is slowed, we know the La Vita Bella will recover. Management’s current concern is taking care of the team.
‘SLOW YOUR ROLL’
When Covid-19 first came to the public’s attention, everyone at La Vita Bella anticipated reduced sales. However, we were not expecting a 30-day shutdown, as mandated by Colorado Governor Polis. As a result, many of our team members now face difficulty paying their bills.
