Help Us Pay For Kicho's Vet Bill

Donation protected
Update: Kicho's condition is worse than we had thought and he has to be transferred back to the emergency clinic again for more treatment and further observation. With all these bills piling up, our initial estimate from the vet was an underestimate and the bills are getting higher. We have already paid close to $1,300 so far and to pick him up from our usual clinic that closes at 10 pm and back to the clinic is going to be at the very least another estimated $550 + tax.

Hi, I'm Ven, and I am the proud owner of a precious baby angel seal point Siamese cat of 4 years who happens to be my pride and joy. I've had a lot of traumatic things happen in my life over these years and Kicho has been the foundation to my strength and mental well-being. He's always been there for me.

He is the biggest burnt marshmallow of fluff and cuddles. Both my roommate and I love to spoil him and he is always so grateful for all the love and care.

Today I came home from work and fed the cats. Kicho didn't seem hungry, which didn't seem normal for him since feeding time is his favourite time of the day. Instead, he laid down and was making loud meowing noises.

After I noticed he seemed to be meowing non-stop at a rate that was much more than his usual talkative self, I went over to check on him to see if something was wrong. He was hiding under the blankets crying and when I went to pet him his crying got even louder.

I picked him up and took him into my room so I could lay him down and further inspect what was wrong with him. He seemed to be having a lot of pain near the areas of his bladder, and neither of us had seen him go to the bathroom recently so we took him to the emergency vet and were informed it may be crystals or stones blocking his bladder.

They're running tests on him currently and draining his bladder and flushing his system a few times to get everything out. He needs x-rays done, a blood test, a urine test, and he needs to stay overnight for treatment. Tomorrow we will be taking him to our regular clinic to be monitored since he will have to be on a catheter for a few days.

They gave us an estimate of roughly $1,500 which includes his stay at the vet clinic for observation.

With the help of some friends we were able to gather enough for his stay at the clinic tonight but it's still pushing us into the red and we need all the help we can get to cover the costs. We'll be needing funds ASAP as he is already in care. Everything is going towards paying back the friends that lent to us, and for the rest of the treatment.

Anything at all that you can give is greatly appreciated, thank you so much ahead of time. This cat means the absolute world to me and I don't know where I'd be without him.
