Help Zelda meet her dying grandfather

I'll admit immediately: We've not made good financial choices. After 8 years of marriage, we're still living paycheck to paycheck and have moved three times in search of that perfect job that would bring us financial security.

Thing is, we're finally at a place where I've got a good job and low rent, but piled up credit card bills and debt repayment is eating nearly a third of my take home pay. I hope to take on a second job of substitute teaching in the fall to get out of this even if it breaks my back, but I want to be at a better place.

This is where you (hopefully) come in. By donating to this, you'd kick start our debt repayment and allow us to pay more than the minimum balance and get some of this stuff paid off faster.

There's another thing. My father-in-law's health has worsened, and we would really love to be able to go see him in case he doesn't get better soon. But paying these damn credit cards each month has not left us any money for traveling. By donating, you'd allow us to put away money for a visit and not get further behind on credit card bills. 

I hate getting hand outs, and can assure you that I'll be working as hard as I can to get as much money as possible.  I also look forward to someday being able to donate to others in their time of need.
