Help Kevin Recover from COVID19 and Loss of Income

Hello friends, family, and kind strangers,

My name is Christopher and I am starting this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of my long-distance boyfriend, Kevin, who is currently living in Chile. Kevin recently caught COVID-19 and, while his symptoms are mild, they have been enough of a distraction that he is unable to complete a freelance programming job that would have earned him $1500. We are hoping to raise this amount to help him cover his lost income and support him during his recovery.

Unfortunately, Kevin is unable to set up a GoFundMe campaign for himself, as the platform does not allow campaigns to be run from Chile. This is why I have taken it upon myself to create this campaign on his behalf and to ensure that the funds raised will go directly to him.

A little bit about Kevin and our relationship: Kevin and I met online several years ago, and despite the distance between us, we have nurtured and maintained a loving and committed relationship. We have been supporting each other in our respective career paths, and Kevin has been working diligently as a freelance programmer to earn a living and save money so that we may one day close the gap between us.

Unfortunately, Kevin has been hit with a double whammy: not only has he caught COVID-19, but the symptoms have impacted his ability to focus and work effectively. As a result, he had no choice but to abandon the programming job he was working on. This loss of income has put him in a precarious financial situation.

While Kevin's symptoms are mild, they have still taken a toll on his physical and emotional well-being. The stress of losing this job and the uncertainty of when he will be able to secure another freelance gig only add to his burden. That is why I am reaching out to all of you for help.

By raising $1500 through this GoFundMe campaign, we hope to alleviate some of the financial pressure Kevin is experiencing and allow him to focus on recovering from COVID-19. With these funds, he will be able to cover his living expenses and medical needs during this challenging time.
