Help Us Make Our Student Film: Deja Vu

Synopsis:

In Deja Vu, we follow a paranoid man named Daniel who is plagued by prophetic dreams. However, Daniel's powers are almost completely useless because he can't remember his dreams until moments before they happen. Daniel has lost all hope of trying to prove his prophecies are real until he finally has a dream he can remember.

Introduction:

Hello, my name is Finn Krause and I am the director and writer for our upcoming short film: Deja Vu. My crew and I are Seniors at SUNY New Paltz studying digital media production and this is our final project for our capstone class. The crew consists of Davis Grimm (Producer), Spencer Longo (Director of Photography), Matt Brignati (Sound Designer), Crhis Parsick (Lead Editor & Production Designer), and Eli Nussbaum (Script Supervisor). Currently, we are in our pre-production phase, but we hope to start production at the beginning of April. We are working hard to try and make this film a reality with our combined skills, but to do so we need your help.

Budget

In order to produce the best possible film we can, my crew and I are asking for your contributions to raise money to cover expenses like paying actors, catering for the cast and crew, securing locations, covering transportation, buying props/wardrobe, and renting/buying additional equipment. Most of the money that we raise will go towards paying professional actors and covering food for the days that we are shooting because a movie can only be as good as the talent involved so we want the best cast we can get and we want to treat them as well as we can.
