To our dear Park Hill Community…
We know many of you have been following our story for many months.. our struggles during covid.. how our business just never came back after the pandemic!! For months we tried to hang on believing that business would still come back… but finally realized that just wasn’t the case. Since opening Oblios 26 years ago a lot has changed!! For one, there’s a ton of pizza joints now. There’s also a lot of restaurants in general so providing the highest quality, delicious, made from scratch, affordable food is also of utmost importance. Oblios was old school and had not kept up with the times. After much reflection we have decided to reinvent ourselves… give ourselves a rebirth.. a second chance..
We know many of you love our pizza and our kids events.. and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support all these years.. but it just wasn’t sustainable. The food cost to provide you the pizza we made was insanely high causing us to raise our prices to an unreasonable amount. We apologize about that.
The GoFundMe we launched back in October was to try to save a restaurant that was ancient and really needed to change.. and we were too stubborn and blind to realize that.
We don’t want pity or sadness for the loss of Oblios Pizzeria. It had a good run. 26 years!! But now we have a chance at creating a new, beloved, neighborhood institution. Our talented cooks have been working tirelessly on renovations and refinishing our bar top so we can bring you back an awesome neighborhood bar. They have been working on creating a delicious menu including burgers and fries, smoked wings, smoked pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, made from scratch pastas, ribeyes and prime rib, amazing salads and homemade crème Brûlée and phenomenal chocolate soufflés…. a lunch menu including awesome lettuce wraps and roasting our own meats for amazing sandwiches… and BREAKFAST/BRUNCH on the weekends!!! We are all sooooooo proud and excited for this rebirth and hope you will join us in this excitement!!!!
However, to transform a pizzeria into a neighborhood craft kitchen requires all new equipment and new barstools and bar tables to bring back our bar… which all adds up to a lot of money.
So, we are asking one final time to help us with the creation of this new neighborhood gem. Every donation helps, no matter the amount. We’d love you to comment when donating on items you’d like to see us add to the menu!! This restaurant is a community effort.. it’s for all of us.. to bring our families to.. for a date night or to watch the game with the guys or to take the girls out to for drinks..

And yes.. we are still open for take out, delivery and patio dining during this transition so please, please continue to dine us and enjoy our pizza till the very end… we need the cash flow to help keep us stay afloat and pay our bill and our staff until the launch of our new restaurant!!
