I'm Steph - a friend of Manny's and auntie to Princeton. I'm fundraising on Manny's behalf because I know he'd never ask for help.

 

More details are below, but in summary: Princeton was misdiagnosed by a vet after vomiting profusely. He was given special food and babysat for a week, and would eat small amounts. Then Monday, Jan 17, Princeton took a turn for the worse and began vomiting again. He was rushed to the ER where they determined that he was misdiagnosed and that Princeton actually had a foreign object in his body that tore his intestines in 3 places, and it caused sepsis.

 

The ER rushed Princeton to a specialized hospital, and Princeton was admitted for emergency surgery. The only other option provided to Manny, was to euthanize Prinny. The surgery (and the repercussions it can have during the week after surgery) has a 50% chance of recovery. It costs a minimum of $12,000 USD.

 

Princeton isn't even 2 years old yet. He is everyone's favorite dog. The bills this accident has accumulated cost around $18,000 USD currently. I cannot put a price on the love that Manny and Princeton have for each other, but I know he's worth every penny of ours.
