My husband recently had open heart surgery, and since then he has been unable to work. This has left our family without an income, and we are struggling to keep up with basic expenses. We owe two months of rent, and the stress of not knowing how we’ll pay it is overwhelming. On top of that, we have a German Shepherd who is just a year and a half old. He’s a wonderful dog, but we don’t have enough money to care for him properly. We’ve tried to get help from the government, but our applications were denied. We even considered rehoming our dog, but the thought of putting him in a shelter breaks our hearts. He’s part of our family, and we want to do everything we can to keep him safe and healthy.
