Y'all. COVID-19 has taken a toll on us all. Bookish has been very fortunate to eke by during the pandemic, even though we shut our doors to the public on March 15th. We're doing deliveries within a 6 mile radius of the store, taking special orders, and generally being grateful for our dedicated customers. 

But we've hit a snag. And we promised some loyal book nerds that we'd reach out if we needed help.

So here it is: our air conditioning went out. During the day, it's 82 degrees in the store. That isn't good for the human that pulls your delivery orders together--and it's not good for the books. 

Getting the air up and running is going to cost $1100. 

Right now, we're not making quite enough to cover regular expenses and rent. We know that business will pick up as more & more people discover this nifty little indie bookshop in EAV. But we don't have spare money for this kind of big expense right now.
