Help us, help Kris + Chris

It's been an emotional month for Chris & Kristine + Connor & Claire and the rest of our family. Chris had been experiencing  a bewildering multitude of behaviors, including falls, that culminated in an ambulance ride to Iowa City Hospitals to make new friends in the Neurosurgery Department. Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with a 3cm frontal lobe brain tumor; and was prepped for surgery. Fortunately, two surgeries later, it's out and not cancerous. (Shout out of thanks to brain surgeons!) Chris just got home, and he requires lengthy rehab. Kristine alone has to rehab Chris, continue working (pay bills and get insurance), and be the great mom she is to the kids. There is no disability available for them to meet bills, and they could use some help for a while. Please know (and if you know Kristine you already know this) Kristine is a giver, not a taker.  We do not want anyone to feel bad if they can't or don't give. But if you want to, this is just a vehicle to assist with that. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LOVING THEM. Thoughts of love, prayers and texts to Chris and Kristine are also welcome.  Here's to a full recovery...
