Help Us Heal Charlene-Lyme

Hi my name is Kirsten Kruck- I’ve known Charlene for nearly 15 years and boy has it been a roller coaster for this girl. 

She is one of those people that is always there for others.

She has certainly taken life’s punches and always come out a victor... but this one is a doozy.

Charlene migrated to Australia some 17 years ago from Colorado looking for a new life with her then young child Max.

She has studied many things since arriving (beauty therapy was where I meet her) but her dream is travel. 

After giving birth to her miracle child at 43, Charlene started to notice changes in her own body that were not normal. 

-Constantly tired from chronic fatigue syndrome
-feeling nauseated
-passing out
-slurred speech 
-eyesight failure
-severe pain in joins and passing out 
-knumbness and loss of appendages 
and the list goes on

After seeking help from many many many medical professionals (all costing and arm and leg) ....

She has been diagnosed with Lyme disease. 

Lyme disease is an infection caused by Borrelia burgdorferi, a spirochete that is found in deer ticks of genus Ixodes. Lyme disease was named in 1977 after arthritis was observed in clusters in children in Lyme, Connecticut. An infected tick can transmit B. burgdorferi to the humans and animals that it  bites.

Lymes has entered her brain, Central nervous system, heart and lung walls. 
She can hardly walk without passing out and loosing breath. 

She has stage 4. 

Death is caused by cardiac arrest and Spinal fluid leakages and more as the list goes on.

Neurological complications most often occur in the second stage of Lyme disease, with numbness, pain, weakness, Bell's palsy (paralysis of the facial muscles), visual disturbances, going blind and meningitis symptoms such as fever, stiff neck, and severe headache.

Imagine going through all this while caring for her nearly 3 year old who is now also undergoing testing for Lyme.

She has had to give up all work along with her beloved MTA Travel business, she  had begun hyperbaric chamber therapy but has since had to stop due to the hefty cost along with monthly medications. 

Her family life is suffering directly due to her illness. 

Her ultimate goal is to start therapy again ASAP.  


Please help to heal Charlene with any donations big or small that will go directly to medical bills, treatments and hopefully feeling better so she can lead a near normal happy life. She must  get better soon so she doesn’t looose her home and wants to get back to work ASAP!!!!
